Special rates apply for school
groups, scouting groups or youth groups. You are advised
to make a reservation ahead of time for the equipment you
wish to rent. A 20% deposit is required at the time of making
a reservation. If a rental is cancelled with less than 24
hours notice, your deposit is not refundable.
Canoes come with 2 paddles
and 2 life jackets. Single kayaks come with a paddle and
life jacket. All boat rentals come with a standard boating
safety kit which includes 50' of floating rope, a whistle,
bailer and signaling device. A flat fee of $5.00 is charged
if you require the use of a tie-down kit to carry boats
safely on your vehicle.
We require the use of a credit
card to reserve or pay for the rentals. The user is responsible
for any loss or damage to the equipment that is rented.
Tumblehome is not liable for any personal injuries that
may occur while you are using our equipment.

No
matter how often you shop at Tumblehome our points program
is worthwhile and very easy.
Who is eligible?
- Any customer who does
not already receive a discount as a member of a specific
club, school group, or a scout group.
How do I sign up?
- Give us your name,
phone number, address, e-mail and receive 200 bonus
points for signing up.
How do I get points?
- Receive one point
for every dollar you spend, before taxes. Points
can be accumulated on all purchases, even if the item
is on sale or is "VALUE" priced. Rentals and labour
charges are excluded.
How do I use Points?
- When you accumulate
a minimum of 400 points you may redeem your points
as a method of payment on your next purchase. (400
points reduces payment on your next purchase by $10.00)
- You can allow your
points to accumulate to any level and they do not
expire.
- Points have no cash
value.
Are there other advantages?
- As a rewards customer
you will be able to receive our useful and informative
e-mail newsletters.

Purchases
|
Special Orders
If you know what
you want but we don't have it in stock, then we are willing
to check with our suppliers to order it in. If you are ordering
an item that we do not stock on a regular basis, a 20% deposit
is required. If we bring the item in and you change your mind
and decide you do not want to purchase it, your deposit may
be non-refundable. Due to the increasing cost of freight charges
there is a shipping fee on Special Orders.
Holds and Layaways
We will place
an item in hold until the end of the following business day
if you need time to think it over. If you would like us to
hold it longer, then we require a 20% deposit. If you want
to make a purchase but need to spread payments out over time,
we can hold your purchase until full payment is completed.
Gift Certificates
Not sure what
to buy? We offer Gift Certificates in any denomination that
you wish. Gift Certificates do not have an expiry date.

Warranty
|
The majority of
the products we offer carry a warranty. Warranties vary. Please
ask us about the warranty offered on specific items. All warranties
are against manufacturers' defects on materials and workmanship.
This means that if a problem arises prematurely and it is
not due to inappropriate use or mistreatment, then it will
be considered for warranty. If a product is just plain worn
out after years of use, then this is not considered a manufacturer's
defect.
In warranty situations
we send the product back to the manufacturer for assesment.
The manufacturer makes the decision on the warranty status
and may choose to repair it, replace it or issue a credit.
If a credit is issued, the customer receives a store credit
based on the price paid for the item including taxes. In order
to send the product back to the supplier, a $10.00 shipping
fee applies.
There are many
different warranty and repair scenarios. We do our best to
be fair to the customer when things go wrong.
